My career journey started in the administrative support field some 30+ years ago.
In July 2002, I moved to Delaware and this is where I decided the healthcare field is where I wanted to be. This has always been a passion of mine because I truly love helping others.
So I headed back to school and received my Diploma in Medical Assisting after moving back to Pennsylvania. After working in healthcare for nine years my path shifted and I headed back to where the journey started (admin. support).
But I knew, there was more out there so I made the shift again and enrolled into Empire Beauty School and the rest is history!! I have been a Cosmetologist for a little over 3 years now and I love it.
With having an added bonus of being a Certified Cranial Prothesis Specialist it is definitely icing on the cake!
What do you enjoy as a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist?
Once started it will definitely be a privilege in helping others during their trying times.
How do you want to help your clients?
I want my clients to know they can always confide in me. There will always be a listening and compassionate ear for them.
What do you love about the community you work and live in?
It's small and diverse but rich in culture.
You can never give too much when you desire to help others. That's what healthcare and cosmetology has given me. And for that, I am forever grateful.
