I am a licensed Cosmetologist with over 30 years of experience.
I have a passion for helping to transform the way people feel about themselves through hair and makeup. Becoming a cranial hair prosthesis specialist allows me the ability to help even more people.
I personally know the affects that hair loss can have on a person psychologically and emotionally. After my grandmother passed in 2014 unexpectedly, I underwent a lot of stress and battled emotionally.
At that time I relaxed my short platinum silver pixie cut. While the end result was aesthetically beautiful and lasted the duration of the funeral, less than 4 days later I loss almost 50% of my hair. I was self conscious and embarrassed as professional, who knew better than to do such a thing.
After treating my damaged hair, I decided to tone my hair down to a natural brown and molded my hair as closely to my head as possible in order to hide some of the bald patches, and only wore flat hairstyles. Within a matter of months, my hair began to grow back.
Years, later, after my mother and her two sisters survived Covid-19, 3 months into their recovery they all almost completely lost all of their hair. I was again devastated as I watched their long beautiful tresses slide completely out of their head.
At that time I decided that I would learn more about the causes of hair loss and learn how I could help others overcome the devastations of it, and the emotional traumas it cause. That is why I chose to become a cranial wig prosthesis specialist.
What a wonderful way to help others who are experiencing hair loss. This allows clients the opportunity to regain their dignity and re-boost confidence. Taking this class has been a game changer for me. What an amazing opportunity to serve clients at this level of beauty enhancement services.
There is nothing like drastically changing the lives of others.

I enjoy that I get to change the lives of people by helping them regain their dignity and confidence.

I want to help them boost self esteem and regain confidence by feeling good when they walk in a room, or look at themselves in the mirror.
