I started in the beauty industry making and installing cosmetic wigs.
Being in the beauty industry was never what I imagined, but I believe God had a different path for me. It doesn't matter what field I transitioned to I always came back to hair, to beauty.
My clientele base for women who experienced some form of hair loss naturally evolved. After having my own issues with hair loss not once, but twice, I decided to become apart of the solution and become a resource!
What do you enjoy as a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist?
As a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist I enjoy just being able to help. Whether I'm providing education, resources, and/or emotional support. When I began to experience hair loss I had no clue why, my confidence took a dive, and I didn't know where to look for answers.
How do you want to help your clients?
Often times when hair loss is experienced it's emotional. We lose our outward confidence, but no one talks about the confidence that's depleted form within. At The Chic Studio we we help our clients restore the confidence from within.
Do you also install medical grade wigs?
Yes.
What do you love about the community you work and live in?
What I love most about the community I work in is the welcoming atmosphere and support. In my journey as a business owner I longed for an environment that I could naturally be myself and not think twice about what that looked live. The other stylists at The Hive Salon welcomed me with warm open arms.
There are many people Cranial Prosthesis Specialists. However, what separates me from the rest is my ability to connect with you on an intimate level.
I've experienced a break in my confidence due the bald spots, hair growing and falling out, wearing wigs because I wanted to then wearing them because I had to. There was no one in my corner who truly understood what I was feeling or going through. At The Chic Studio, you are not alone, I see you.
