I am a 74 yr old African-American female who has battled alopecia for over 40 years due to a thyroid condition and medication to control it. I have little to no natural hair growth, but was blessed to find creative stylists and later weaves and wigs. I recently had complete hearing loss that requires a cochlear implant install, so I will probably need a custom medical wig. Please advise as to how I should get started. I am retired, so I am available for advice, consult, information anytime. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I live in Beaumont , had implant at Baylor in Houston.
