Hello, I just relocated to North Carolina a year ago and currently work in the social services field. Not only that I also manage my own small business called Lovelys Wigs.

I started my hair business back in 2018 which specializes in selling wigs, hair extensions, mink lashes, and also products to maintain the units. I also provide revamping and restoration on units that are up to three years old and bring them back to life.

For about a year now I’ve been thinking of strategies that would bring my social services skills into my business. This is why I chose to become a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist. Daily I customize, color, cut, install, and sale regular or custom wigs to fit customers needs.

So, I told myself why not expand my business by helping individuals with medical conditions who have experience hair loss. It really makes my heart smile to know that I am able to create an impact of someone else life by providing them the wig of their dreams. That’s my only goal. 

 

What do you enjoy as a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist?

The best part about being a Cranial Prothesis Specialist is the diversity it brings. I am now able to assist any age, race, or gender without worrying about the stigmatization a regular wig business might bring.
 
I am more excited to expand my brand focusing on how to create realistic units for children who experience hair loss because of their medical condition.
 

How do you want to help your clients?

I want my clients to feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable when they are wearing their medical wigs purchased from my business.
 
I want to answer all their concerns and create a visual of exactly what they want their unit to look like. Lastly, I want to provide at home maintenance tips to make sure they are getting the full wear and life expectancy of their medical wigs.
 

Do you also install medical grade wigs? 

Yes, I can install a medical wig. I am currently a wigologist and have been installing all types of wigs rather it’s closure or frontal going on four years now.
 
What do you love about the community you work and live in?
My community represents a helping hand. Everyone is so sweet around me but also respectful.
 
They help each other when needed and very understanding of their were any unfamiliar situations. Not only that people are supportive of one another especially small businesses.
 
Honestly, I am already the wigologist that will go out my way to satisfy my customers. Now, that I am also a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist I can only imagine my clients satisfaction.
