There are people in your city who would be good at this and have never heard of it. Stylists, barbers, salon owners, and people who found this work because someone they love went through hair loss. They won't discover cranial prosthesis fitting from a webinar. They find out when someone in their own market stands in a room and shows them.

The Wig Medical Certified CPS Instructor program puts that room in your hands. India Mason trains you to teach the certification, then you run one-day events in your market as the lead instructor. Wig Medical builds the curriculum, produces the event, and covers the production costs. You bring the market and you teach the room.

What the role actually involves

Train with India

India Mason trains you to teach the certification directly. You learn the curriculum, the clinical instruction, and the billing content before you ever stand in front of a room.

Run your own one-day event

Every Wig Medical certification event is a single day. Once you are trained, you lead the room. Wig Medical provides the curriculum, the materials, and the production behind you.

Fill your market

You are the face of the event in your city. You promote it to the licensed professionals in your area, and we support you with creative and campaign assets.

The terms, up front

No ambiguity about how this works before you apply.

Revenue share on ticket sales

Instructors earn a revenue share of ticket sales from the events they run. The specific split is provided in the instructor terms sheet once your application moves forward.

We cover production

Wig Medical covers the production costs of the event. You are not fronting money to teach.

No exclusive territory

Instructors are not granted exclusive rights to a city or region. Markets stay open.

This is a year-round commitment. Instructors post collaboratively with the Wig Medical account on a weekly basis throughout the year, not only around event dates. If you are looking for a one-time teaching opportunity, this is not it.

Where we are prioritizing events

We are selecting six instructors for our first cohort. These are the markets we are actively building toward, though applications from other cities are welcome and reviewed the same way.

Smaller-format events are the on-ramp. Cities like Nashville host a smaller-format version of the certification. These are the easier first events to fill and the lower-risk way to teach your first room. Most instructors should want to start here before taking on a major market.

Who can apply

Three requirements You have completed the Wig Medical CPS Certification course. You are actively practicing and fitting cranial prostheses for clients now. You have submitted insurance claims for cranial prostheses. You will be teaching this material as the only instructor in the room, so you need to have lived it.

What makes a strong application

These are not requirements. They are what we weigh when selecting six people out of the applications we receive.

  • You have attended the live one-day certification in person. Instructors who have sat in the room are prioritized. Teaching a format you have never experienced is guesswork.
  • You have taught, trained, or spoken to a group before. Instructor training will get you there, but starting with the reps helps.
  • You are active in the CPS Society. We look for people already contributing to the provider community.
  • You can fill a room. A local following, an active social presence, or existing relationships with licensed professionals in your market.

What happens after you apply

India Mason reviews every application personally. Applications that move forward receive the full instructor terms sheet and an invitation to schedule a call. Selected instructors complete instructor training with India before scheduling their first event. You will not be put in front of a room until you and India both know you are ready.

Not ready to apply yet? That is a real answer. Most people who become strong instructors spend a year building a practice first. Keep fitting clients, keep filing claims, and come back when the three requirements describe you.
