I started my journey as a hairstylist because I loved helping people express their individuality and feel good about themselves.
Even though I'm no longer working in that space, over time, I realized my purpose went deeper — I wanted to help those who were experiencing hair loss regain their confidence.
That’s when I became a Certified Cranial Prosthesis Specialist and founded Sew Lovie Hair & Wellness Co. to combine beauty, wellness, and healing in one space.
What do you enjoy as a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist?
What I love most is seeing the transformation — not just in appearance, but in spirit.
There’s nothing like watching someone light up when they see themselves in the mirror again.
It’s a reminder that confidence can be restored, and beauty never truly leaves us — sometimes it just needs a little help finding its way back.
How do you want to help your clients?
My goal is to create a safe, understanding space where clients feel comfortable and cared for.
I help them navigate their insurance coverage, understand their medical wig options, and choose the best fit for their lifestyle.
Most of all, I want them to feel seen, valued, and beautiful — no matter what stage of healing they’re in.
Do you also install medical-grade wigs?
I currently provide virtual consultations and guidance for medical-grade wig fittings, and I also offer select mobile installation services.
As my business continues to grow, I look forward to expanding into more in-person installation options so clients can experience the full Sew Lovie care in person.
What do you love about the community you work and live in?
I love that Kentucky has grit, pride, and heart.
When I was younger, I didn’t always appreciate it, but as I’ve grown older, I’ve become more curious about my roots and continue to find new ways to fall back in love with my home state.
Kentucky has this family-oriented culture and deep sense of resilience that always pulls me back. No matter where I go, it feels like home. The people here have strength, history, and warmth — and that keeps me grounded and inspired to serve.
I believe true beauty starts within, and healing can be both emotional and physical. My mission is to help others see that they are still whole, still worthy, and still beautiful — with or without hair.
Through Sew Lovie Hair & Wellness Co., I want every client to leave feeling empowered, cared for, and reminded that their crown is not just restored — it’s renewed.
