I’m the founder of EMONAECOLLECTIONS, a luxury beauty brand specializing in wigs, bundles, and hair care products. My journey began in 2019 after the passing of my mother, who was also a hairstylist.

Inspired by her legacy and my passion for beauty, I pursued cosmetology, graduating in 2022 and earning my professional license. Starting from humble beginnings, I built my business from designing in a small section of my room to creating a luxury suite .

Along the way, I’ve faced challenges, including issues with vendors and navigating entrepreneurship, but my faith and resilience have been my guiding forces. EMONAECOLLECTIONS is more than just a brand; it’s a movement to empower others, a line focused on maintaining healthy hair beneath protective styles, my goal is to provide transformative beauty solutions.

Every step of my journey reflects my commitment to helping others look and feel their best, while honoring the art of hairstyling that my mother loved.

What do you enjoy as a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist?

As a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist, I find immense joy in transforming lives through the art of hairstyling.
 
For many of my clients, their hair is deeply tied to their confidence and identity, and being able to restore that for them is incredibly rewarding. I love creating custom wigs that are not only beautiful but also comfortable and tailored to each client’s unique needs, whether they’re experiencing hair loss due to medical conditions, treatments, or other circumstances.
 
Seeing the smile on their faces when they see themselves in the mirror is priceless—it’s a moment of empowerment and renewed self-esteem. Beyond the technical aspect, I value the connections I build with my clients. Many share their personal stories with me, and I feel honored to be a part of their journey.
 
In those moments, I’m not just a stylist; I’m a listener, a supporter, and sometimes even a therapist. The combination of artistry, compassion, and the ability to make a positive impact on someone’s life is what makes this work so fulfilling for me.
 

How do you want to help your clients?

I want to help my clients feel confident, beautiful, and empowered, both inside and out. My goal is to provide them with more than just a service—I want to create an experience that uplifts their spirit and renews their sense of self.
 
Through EMONAECOLLECTIONS, I aim to offer high-quality wigs, hair care products, and beauty solutions that cater to their unique needs. Whether they’re looking for a protective style, dealing with hair loss, or simply wanting a fresh new look, I want them to leave feeling like the best version of themselves.
 
Beyond aesthetics, I’m passionate about educating my clients on the importance of self-care, including maintaining healthy hair underneath their wigs. I believe beauty starts from within, and I want to inspire them to prioritize their overall well-being.
 
Ultimately, I want my clients to know they’re in a safe space where they’re valued and supported. My hope is that every interaction leaves them feeling seen, heard, and confident in their own beauty.

What I love most about the community I work and live in is its resilience, diversity, and creativity. Houston is a city full of dreamers and doers, and it’s inspiring to see so many people working hard to achieve their goals while supporting one another.
 
The beauty industry here is thriving, and I love how the community values self-expression and individuality. My clients come from all walks of life, and each one brings their own unique energy and story. It’s a privilege to contribute to their confidence and help them feel their best.
 
I also appreciate the sense of connection within the community. Whether it’s collaborating with other entrepreneurs, sharing tips and advice, or simply engaging in meaningful conversations, there’s a strong spirit of camaraderie and mutual support.
