Kanesha Gentry: Cranial Prosthesis Specialist Tampa, Florida

For over 12 years, I dedicated myself to a career in law enforcement as a Corrections Deputy. This role was demanding and often stressful, requiring a high level of commitment and resilience.

Despite the challenges, my career taught me invaluable skills, such as discipline, empathy, and the importance of community service. While navigating the pressures of law enforcement, I found solace in an unexpected place—hair braiding. Braiding hair became my escape, a creative outlet that allowed me to unwind and express myself.

Little did I know that this hobby would soon transform into a newfound passion and career. In 2020, I took a leap of faith and entered the hair industry as a professional braider. This transition marked the beginning of a fulfilling journey where I could blend my love for creativity with my desire to help others.

Through braiding, I connected with many wonderful clients, each with their unique story and background. During my time as a braider, I met numerous women who were experiencing hair loss—a condition that can significantly impact one's self-esteem and confidence.

Witnessing their struggles inspired me to expand my skills and make wigs to support those dealing with hair loss. My goal is to help individuals suffering from hair loss regain their confidence during challenging times.

By providing personalized solutions and compassionate support, I aim to make a positive difference in their lives. Whether through a beautifully braided hairstyle or a custom-made wig, I strive to empower my clients and restore their sense of self.

As I continue to grow in the hair industry, I remain committed to my mission of helping others. My journey from law enforcement to hair braiding has been transformative, allowing me to pursue my passion while making a meaningful impact. I am excited for the future and look forward to supporting more individuals on their journey to confidence and self-assurance.
