What do you enjoy as a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist?
LeToya is a resilient advocate with a 29-year journey through scarring alopecia.
Her personal experience with hair loss began in 1999 when she noticed a major balding spot on the crown of her head, followed by thinning edges in 2002 due to a lack of education about weaves and hair glues.
In 2003, after a cervical cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatments, she endured additional hair loss. Though most of her hair grew back, its texture changed drastically, becoming dry, brittle, and fragile.
LeToya's journey led her to discover the transformative power of medical-grade custom prosthetics.
After extensive research starting in 2012 on wigs—including human hair units, raw hair, Remy hair, full synthetic, and synthetic blends—she realized the importance of quality and education in this space.
