Conyers, Georgia
Hey, I'm Rozie. I'm a master cosmetologist of thirteen years in the Conyers, Georgia area, a Certified Cranial Prosthesis Specialist, and the owner of Katore Wigs.
If you're going through hair loss and you're not sure who to call, let me tell you a little about how I work.
Thirteen years of making women feel beautiful
My specialty has always been weaves and extensions.
Seeing a woman transform, creating looks with her — that's been my thing since the day I started.
Making women feel and look beautiful is the part of this job I love, and that hasn't changed now that I work with medical hair loss. What changed is who's in my chair and what she's carrying when she sits down.
Finding solutions for people experiencing medical hair loss is what I enjoy most now. That's why I went through cranial prosthesis specialist certification — so I could do that work properly, including the insurance side of it.
More than just finding a wig
My goal is to make this more than a transaction where you pick something off a shelf.
What I want to create is a private, personalized experience — somewhere you can feel comfortable, beautiful and confident while you're navigating your hair loss journey. Privacy matters here.
Not everybody wants to have this conversation in an open salon with other people listening, and you shouldn't have to.
What I want for you at the end of it is your hair and your confidence back. Those two things come together, and anybody who's been through it knows that.
I fit, and I install
Because I'm a licensed cosmetologist, I can take you all the way through.
I handle the consultation, source your unit, prepare your documentation, bill your insurance — and I install your medical unit too.
That matters more than it might sound. A lot of specialists handle the medical and billing side but can't apply the unit, so you'd need a second appointment with someone else. With me, it's one relationship from start to finish.
If you've not seen one before, a medical-grade cranial prosthesis is built differently from the wigs you're used to — a breathable base rather than lace, worn without glue, made for a scalp that may be sensitive or healing. It's a medical device, and it should look like your hair, not like a wig.
About insurance, honestly
Your doctor — usually a dermatologist or an oncologist — writes the prescription. One word on it matters a lot: it needs to say cranial prosthesis rather than wig.
The first is a medical device; the second reads as a cosmetic purchase, and that distinction decides a lot of claims. Here's how insurance coverage for a cranial prosthesis works if you want the full picture before we talk.
I won't tell you your claim is guaranteed, because nobody honestly can. Coverage depends on your plan, your state, your diagnosis, your documentation and your supplier status, and Original Medicare doesn't cover cranial prostheses at all right now. What I can tell you is that plenty of denials come down to how something was written rather than whether you're truly excluded — and getting that part right is what I was trained for.
If you're still working out what's behind your hair loss, there's a plain-English guide to the types of medical hair loss here on the site.
Why Conyers
I love that this community has supported me through all these years of being a master cosmetologist.
Being able to build my business here, connect with local families, and create services that make a difference in people's lives — that's what I'm proud of. These are my neighbors. I'd like to be the person they can come to for this.
Come talk to me
You can see my work at katorewigs.com or on Instagram at @katorewigs_. There's no obligation in a first conversation, and asking whether you might be covered costs you nothing.
