Teri Jackson: Cranial Prosthesis Specialist Latta, South Carolina

I own Arlana Styles Manextensions, a holistic hair braiding salon in Latta, South Carolina. I am a licensed South Carolina Hair Braider, a licensed Cosmetologist in North Carolina and Maryland, a Certified Aromatherapist, Beauty Therapist, Trichologist, Hair Loss Practitioner, Herbalist, Meditation Instructor, Life Coach, and Aromatherapist.

With over 20 years of experience serving women in the beauty industry—and more recently in wellness—I have also worked alongside doctors, physicians, and nurses in the medical field as an administrator in Baltimore, Maryland, and South Carolina.

My work focuses on supporting clients through services such as crochet braids, loc maintenance, and customized herbal-infused scalp and hair oils under my wellness brand, Asmane Roots.

What do you enjoy as a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist?

I enjoy restoring more than just hair — I restore confidence, hope, and a sense of identity. For many of my clients, hair loss is deeply personal and often isolating.

Being able to bridge that gap, guiding them not only in selecting a medical-grade wig but also in understanding their insurance rights and care options, is powerful. This work allows me to be seen not only as a beauty provider but also as a trusted healthcare partner — someone educated, trained, and positioned to help clients feel seen, safe, and supported through a medical lens. It is both affirming for me and transformational for them.

How do you want to help your clients?

I want to help my clients reclaim their power, confidence, and self-worth. Hair loss is often seen as a cosmetic issue — but it’s not. It’s a medical and emotional journey, and I am here to walk that path with them. Whether they’re facing chemotherapy, alopecia, trichotillomania, or hormonal changes, I want them to know they’re not alone.

Through personalized consultations, insurance advocacy, and referrals to trusted medical wig installers, I strive to ensure my clients feel supported every step of the way. I want them to feel cared for — not just sold to. For me, this work is about empowerment, not just appearance.

What do you love about the community you work and live in?

I love the women in my community — their strength, their stories, and their ability to turn pain into purpose. Many of my clients have experienced hair loss in silence because there were few local options that were both medical-grade and culturally aware. I’m honored to serve this community by offering something that’s often missing — compassionate care that bridges beauty and health.

I believe everyone deserves to feel dignified, regardless of where they live or what they’re going through. This work allows me to pour back into the women who are always pouring into me.

I approach every aspect of my work with a heart-led purpose. I don’t just see wigs — I see healing, dignity, and transformation. With over a decade of experience in beauty, holistic wellness, and hair loss support, I’ve turned that expertise into a mission to uplift others through education, compassion, and access.

My clients are not just numbers — they are individuals with stories, emotions, and journeys I deeply honor. Becoming a Cranial Prosthesis Consultant is not just a title to me — it’s a divine extension of my purpose. I’m here to serve with grace, represent with integrity, and advocate fiercely for those who deserve to feel seen, beautiful, and whole again.
